As a South Florida Resident of 40 years, Chris Powers, President of Powerhouse Property Services, has been part of the construction industry in Florida for most of his life. He spent his early teens learning the remodeling business from his family in high end residential neighborhoods in the intracoastal and beach areas of North Broward and South Palm Beach County. He always knew his life would revolve around real estate and dreamed of opening up his own business. Summers in Florida consisted of hard work learning the carpentry and finish trades in the Florida sun. Even in college he continued to participate, working installing doors in commercial buildings and form carpentry for some of the residential home builders.

Once Chris graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Political Science, he continued to pursue his career path as a superintendant for GL Homes, one of South Florida's largest homebuilders. He then worked with Levitt and Sons managing their customer service department. Finally, Chris moved to the boardroom as DR Horton's Director of Warranty and Quality Control. Each step taught him more and more the value of excellent customer service. This is the relentless drive for excellence which embodies the Powerhouse building experience.
